Dr. Jiaying (Jane) Qian  M.D., M.Sc., FRCPC

Dr. Qian is a caring and experienced pediatrician who sees patients as a consultant pediatrician in local communities. She also serves as a staff pediatrician and the local Department Head of Pediatrics at Burnaby General Hospital. Dr. Qian is board-certified in general pediatrics in both Canada and the United States.

She has a special interest in newborn and infant care, developmental surveillance, pediatric emergencies, and asthma management. Dr. Qian completed her pediatric residency training in Baltimore, Maryland, and also holds a Master’s degree in molecular biology from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Qian is committed to providing thoughtful, family-centered care and is actively involved in improving clinical practices to enhance the patient experience.

Outside of her work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
