Pediatrician

A pediatrician will provide initial consultation for those who have not been assessed by a paediatrician previously. Children and youths are usually referred to a pediatrician by their family doctor for speech delay, behavior issues, social skill problems, ADHD, or anxiety. The pediatrician will give recommendations and refer them for further assessments as needed. The patients will be referred to public services. Should the parents choose the private assessment route, more information will be provided. After the diagnosis is finalized, the paediatrician will reassess the patient to do further investigations for potential causes and rule out comorbidities. The patients with comorbidities such as ADHD, anxiety, and other medical problems will receive medical treatment as needed.
