Dr. Joanne Jia, MD, Ph.D, Pediatrician, FRCPC

Dr. Jia is the director of the clinic. She is a pediatric specialist who has many years of clinical experience. She is passionate about her work and profession. As a pediatrician, she provides care for children with a variety of medical conditions, and she also has a special interest in child development and behavior issues, ASD, ADHD, anxiety, other psychological problems, and obesity in children and youths. Dr. Jia is an MD and PhD, and received residency training from both Albany Medical Centre in New York and BC Children’s Hospital in British Columbia. In addition, she is an assistant clinical professor at the University of British Columbia. She speaks English, Mandarin, and Japanese.
