Fiona Hui, M.Sc., SLP (C)
Fiona Hui received her Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. She is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia and certified with the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists. Fiona is a Clinical Educator with the University of British Columbia and she is also on the RASP. Fiona provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients with communication difficulties in Richmond and across the Greater Vancouver area. Her main clinical interests are in the areas of ASD, childhood apraxia of speech, stuttering, hearing impairments, and other speech and language disorders.
Fiona received training in methods such as PROMPT, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Lidcombe, Camperdown, Social Thinking, Reference and Regulate, and PEERs Program. She is also certified to teach Hanen "It Takes Two to Talk", "Talkability", "More Than Words" programs to parents and caregivers of children with communication difficulties. Fiona provides an eclectic and individualized treatment and assessment approach to her clients. She strongly values family-centered practice when delivering services to her clients. Fiona is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
